The Ben Craig Center is hosting a series of free workshops designed to guide contestants and prospective entrepreneurs through the creation and launch of high potential business ventures. Regardless of whether you enter the contest, the workshops will provide valuable information. These interactive workshops will be led by veteran entrepreneur and Ben Craig Center president Paul Wetenhall and will feature experts, entrepreneurs and investors. All workshops are free and will be held at the Ben Craig Center . The second workshop on February 10, Developing an Effective Business Plan, will provide participants with a clear sense of how all the parts of the business plan fit together, and why they are all important. The session will provide an overview of major plan components such as marketing and finance as well as legal considerations. Participants will assess their progress by engaging in a Business Plan in Thirty Minutes exercise.
